Lochcarron
It was good weather for our drive from the Isle of Skye towards Inverness. We stopped for a great lunch at the hotel at Lochcarron. I took this pic of two motor bikes parked out the front of the hotel. The luggage on the bikes is covered with patches from many parts of the world including Tasmania. The women riding the bikes were in the pub finishing their lunch. They are English but had been touring in Australia on hired bikes.
Our B n B outside Inverness at Dingwall is basic but convenient. I can hardly squeeze into the shower which is the shape of a quarter circle. We explored Dingwall but it doesn't have much going for it. Large supermarkets such as Tesco and Lidl on the edge of town have left the old high street with few customers.
This old dog was lying on the bench seat in the Lochcarron pub. There are two signs on the door of the pub - one says no dogs allowed, while the other requires dogs be kept on a lead. This dog can't read and was available for me to pat.
