St Davids

St Davids Cathedral is in the far south west of Wales. The ruins of the Bishop's Palace are attached to the cathedral. It has been damaged by an earthquake, plundered by Norsemen, and almost destroyed by Cromwell's men who removed the lead roof. The cathedral has been extensively restored over the past 200 years. Recently a woman was appointed as the first Dean of St Davids.
