King's Arms Llandudno

After our train trip on the Conwy Valley Railway we stopped for lunch at the King's Arms. The chef's partner was handing out menus which included Welsh rarebit which she said was good. The chef explained the recipe includes cheese, worcestershire sauce and beer. I decided to give it a try and found it was tasty. The chips over here tend to be soft and soggy - and that is before malt vinegar is added.

The overweight resident labrador was poking his nose around my backpack. We think it is great seeing dogs on trains, in shops, and staying in hotels. See the dogs welcome sign in the tea shop window.
