Coastal Drive

We spent the day driving around the rugged south west coast of Wales. Anita doesn't like the very narrow roads but I prefer them to motorways. Drivers generally pull over where there is space to let oncoming vehicles pass. So far we haven't had to cope with reversing back a long way to let a truck or tractor pass.

The coastline is rugged with many of the villages having a history of fishing, but there is no longer any commercial fishing. Tourism and farming seem to be the main activities. We had lunch at a pub in Little Haven and bought snacks for tea from Lidl which is a supermarket chain similar to Aldi.
