Last Day

We drove to Coffin Bay which is a major oyster growing area and has a large national park. We had fish for lunch at a cafe which was next to a house where a mob of about 15 to 20 young emus were grazing.

Back at the campground we walked to the pier. I was minding some fishing rods for one of the Roadies while she went to get a jacket because of the cold wind. We caught a few tiddlers and tossed them back.

There was much activity by the Aussie Road Crew "women's auxillary" making salads and dumplings. Sara Storer made rissoles for the BBQ. We spent the evening exchanging contact details with many of our new friends.

This morning we were on the road just after 6.30 am. There was very little traffic all the way to Peterborough where we have stopped for the night.
